The Kerakoll Round project represents an attempt to create a sculptural and decorative staging, conceived as an unicum with architecture. A site-specific collection for Dogana Resort in Molfetta where all the altarpieces and the panels – over 50 sizes ad hoc – have been designed according with their position inside rooms and also considering the spaces functions. Shapes, geometries and colors take inspiration from the surrounding architecture, from nuances and tones coming from the sea and also from the light which bounces off little alleys of the ancient village.
Resin is the perfect material to define an architectural effect in 2D: the depth, the variegated texture which depends on the spatula movement, the slight ripples, they all contribute to establish a continuous effect of vibration along the surface and make it alive, as we would like for a good architecture.
